Airborne survey, geophysics and inspection — under one roof

LiDAR for geometry, magnetics for what lies beneath, thermography for what is failing. Choose a single service or combine them into one mobilisation.

Service detail

What each service includes

01 — Geometry

Airborne LiDAR survey

UAV LiDAR with integrated GNSS and inertial logging, flown in systematic lines and processed to a classified point cloud at 20–25 points per m2.

  • Volumetrics for stockpiles, benches, pits and dumps
  • Bare-earth terrain models and contours through canopy
  • Orthophoto and 3D mesh add-ons where visual context is needed
02 — Subsurface

Drone magnetometer survey

Low-altitude magnetic acquisition with a suspended sensor loop for geological mapping and target delineation, backed by 2,000+ line-km of acquired profiles.

  • Total field, diurnal-corrected and IGRF-removed datasets
  • Anomaly maps, profiles and analytic signal products
  • Ranked target list for ground follow-up or drilling
03 — Performance

Solar PV thermography

Radiometric thermal flights over solar plants with module-level anomaly detection and classification, delivered with SolarMark.

  • Hot spot, bypass diode, string and soiling anomaly classes
  • Georeferenced defect register with module and string references
  • Plant-level report for O&M action planning
04 — Condition

Asset & infrastructure inspection

Visual and thermal drone inspection of structures that are slow, risky or expensive to reach on foot, returning located defects instead of a folder of photographs.

  • Rooftops, towers, sheds, stacks and industrial structures
  • Photogrammetric 3D models and orthomosaics
  • Defect list with coordinates, severity and recommended action
05 — Capability building

Aerial LiDAR training

Practical training for survey teams, students and institutions, taught by the crew that flies and processes commercial missions.

  • Mission planning, flight parameters and safety
  • GNSS base station and ground control point workflows
  • Point cloud processing, classification and QA

Combined mobilisations

LiDAR and magnetics are frequently flown in the same campaign: the laser gives you the surface, the magnetometer gives you the structure below it, and the two grids share one control network and one report.

What you receive

The standard deliverable set

Deliverables are agreed in the scope note, then issued in open formats with a short method and accuracy statement.

  • Raw and processed point cloud as LAS or LAZ, delivered in the agreed coordinate reference system.
  • Classified ground and non-ground points so terrain products can be regenerated without touching the raw data.
  • Rasters: DTM, DSM, hillshade and slope as GeoTIFF at the agreed resolution.
  • Contours and breaklines as DXF or SHP at 0.5 m or 1 m intervals.
  • Volumetric tables as CSV or XLSX, with the surface pairs used for each calculation.
  • Magnetic products: total field, corrected grids, anomaly maps, profiles and target coordinates.
  • Thermal products: radiometric image sets, classified anomaly register and plant report.
  • Final report covering method, equipment, control, accuracy achieved, coverage and limitations.

Engagements

Three ways clients work with us

Single-site survey

One block, one question, one report. Typical for a reserve update, a dump volume check, an exploration target or a plant inspection before a maintenance window.

Programme surveys

Repeated coverage across several blocks or seasons with a fixed control network, so results are comparable period to period. Includes an agreed reporting rhythm.

Survey plus handover

We fly the first campaign with your team, then train your surveyors on the same equipment and data so the work can continue in-house.
